PURPOSE:To satisfactorily color and underline an image by successively developing an images in copy areas, which are designated with an editor, with developers of prescribed colors and transferring them on the same transfer paper wound around a transfer drum in designated color with a designated pattern. CONSTITUTION:Originals G to be copied are prepared and are put on an editor 17, and areas, colors, coloring (positions, overall coloring, dot overall coloring, a pattern like an underlining shape, and color designation) are designated and are stored in a RAM 19. Originals G are put on a contact glass in the order designated by the editor 17, and only components of designated color are copied, and images are transferred on the same transfer paper wound around the transfer drum. Designated areas of originals are successively copied; and when copying of a required number of originals is terminated, images are developed with color designated for coloring and are transferred (transfer is repeated to obtain designated color if color designated for coloring is not one of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black).
