PURPOSE:To select the operation state of an equipment in accordance with the classification of the equipment or load to be controlled even if a terminal equipment falls into a communication impossible state, by providing a selecting means which sets the operation state of the equipment at the time of communication impossibility and preliminarily setting this selecting means. CONSTITUTION:If the communication impossible state is detected by a communication control part 4, a control signal CNT goes to the high level and data just before the communication impossible state is continuously outputted as reception data O1-O8. Then the signal in the high level is applied to the output control terminal of corresponding one of tristate buffers 20A-20H through closed operation state set switches 22A-22H, and the tristate buffer is set to the high impedance state. Consequently, corresponding one of transistors T1-T8 is turned off, and the operation of a prescribed equipment is stopped and the other tristate buffers are in the through state as they are. Thus, the operation state just before the communication impossible state is held.
