PURPOSE:To improve an operating efficiency as well as to contrive to reduce the cost of a product by a method wherein a work supporting part, a first adjusting part, which adjusts the positions of work receiving bodies to a direction to approach or separate from works, and a second adjusting part, which performs the positionings of the work receiving bodies to a direction intersecting orthogonally to the first adjusting part, are provided. CONSTITUTION:A work supporting part 6 having a plurality of work receiving bodies 27-29 for supporting the corner parts of works 5, a first adjusting part 3, which adjusts simultaneously the positions of the work receiving bodies 27-29 to a linear direction 2 to approach or separate from the works 5 provided with the above work receiving bodies 27-29 and supported by the work receiving bodies 27-29, and a second adjusting part 4, with which this first adjusting part 3 is engaged and which adjusts simultaneously the positions of the work receiving bodies 27-29 to a direction 1 nearly intersecting orthogonally to the direction 2 that the positions of the work receiving bodies are adjusted by the first adjusting part 3, are provided. Thereby, the positions of the work receiving bodies 27-29 can be adjusted in quick response to the length L and width K of the works 5. Accordingly, the need to remake a jig each time the dimensions of the works are changed is eliminated, that can contribute to a reduction in the production cost and a jig more suitable for a small-lot and multiproduct production basis can be obtained. |
