<p>PURPOSE:To assist nighttime navigation effectively by a method wherein a target signal from a radar is converted into a target signal in a coordinate system taken by a snooperscope camera and the converted target signal is superposed on an image signal from the snooperscope camera and displayed in a display unit. CONSTITUTION:In a distance and bearing conversion device 10, the distance and the bearing contained in a target signal of each target are subjected to coordinate conversion into a target signal in a coordinate system taken by a snooperscope camera 4 so that each target taken by a radar 1 can be displayed on a display unit 7b together with each target taken by the camera 4. A radar image processing device 12 receives herein a conversion index signal of each target from the device 10, a moving/standstill discrimination signal of each target from a moving target/standing-still target discriminating device 8, a target size signal of each target from a reception signal expansion detecting device 9 and an alarm signal from a collision prevention alarm device 11, and outputs a target pseudo image signal.</p> |
