<p>PURPOSE:To conduct the detection and tracking of a target efficiently, by providing a beam forming device for tracking and an angle measuring device in addition to a digital multibeam forming device. CONSTITUTION:An output of a receiver 10 is stored temporarily in a buffer memory 12, and it is supplied therefrom to a digital multibeam forming device 11 using FFT. At the same time, it is supplied to a beam forming device 11 using DFT, so as to form a beam for tracking. Herein the directions of two beams for tracking are set as beta1 and beta2 and inputted to beam forming units DFT1 and DFT2 respectively, while the beams T1 and T2 for tracking are inputted to complex adders 17 and 18 in an angle gauge 21, where the sum T1+T2 and the difference T1-T2 are found respectively. These values of sum and difference are sent to a divider 19, and a difference/sum value is converted into an angle by an angle converter 20. Thereby an angle of arrival of a radio wave can be known.</p> |
