PURPOSE:To realize energy saving as well as comfortable feeling and also to simplify the operation by a method wherein the setting of scheduled air conditioning and manual air conditioning can be performed from a main controller and a room controller. CONSTITUTION:In case of communication mode, various information inputted through a main controller 19 and a value of room temperature sensed by a room temperature sensor 50 are sent to a control device 18 from a communication unit. In a room controller 14, at first the selection of mode is carried out under operation of a mode key 37. In case that the operation is set to scheduled air conditioning operation, the air conditioning operation is carried out in accordance with a temperature schedule set by the controller 19. Further, in case that the operation is set to the manual air conditioning operation, a continuous air conditioning under a certain set room temperature is carried out regardless of the temperature schedule. Signals of the mode key 37 and room temperature setting keys 38 and 39 are inputted to CPU through an input unit and then stored in a memory. These values are outputted to the second display units 40-42. A present room temperature sensed by the temperature sensor is displayed in a display unit 40, a set room temperature of the scheduled air conditioning or manual air conditioning is displayed in a display unit 41 and a preset mode is displayed in a display unit 42 through LCD.
