PURPOSE:To rapidly and easily collect even the internal memory data of a system constituent member in an on-line operation, by coupling each constituent member in a plant control system with a close-coupled data transmission loop, and interposing a data collector possible to read out the internal memory of each connection member in the loop. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is equipped with a programmable controller 17 collecting a data collecting means data, etc., which makes each system constituent member output the content of a memory M4 to common memories M1-M3, M5, and M6 by coupling the system constituent members such as a plant controlling computer 8 and a process input/output device 9, etc., with the close-coupled data transmission loop 1, collecting data stored in the common memories M1-M3, M5, and M6 to be arranged in the loop 1, and also, supplying a data collection command to each system constituent member through the common memories M1-M3, M5, and M6. In such a way, it is possible not only to collect the data of the common memory but to freely read the internal memory of each connection member in the on-line operation, and to rapidly and easily perform data collection in a wide range.
