<p>PURPOSE:To exactly reproduce the recording layer of a recording medium even when it is deformed, by providing a driving means which changes the pressing force of a pressure-contact roller to press the recording medium on a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The pressure-contact roller 11 to apply an appropriate pressing force on the reading plane of the magnetic head 10 is supported at one end of an L-shaped arm 12 inserted to a supporting shaft 7, and also, is connected to a solenoid 14 through a spring 13 at the other end. And a device is constituted so that the pressure-contact roller 11 contacts with pressure with the magnetic head 10 receiving the tension of the spring 13 by energizing the solenoid 14. In such a way, it is possible to prevent pressure unrequired for the reading of information from being applied on the recording medium without being deformed, and to obtain a sufficient pressing force on even a deformed recording medium, thereby, the reproduction of a magnetic recording layer can be performed exactly.</p> |
