PURPOSE:To prevent drop in the temperature of the air discharged into a room during room heating by providing a spring made of a shape memory alloy which extends when the air in the air flow passage in a supply air duct is at low temperature and shrinks when it is at high temperature and operating a damper with this spring. CONSTITUTION:During room heating, for instance, the outdoor air of low temperature enters the room from a suction air port 19 by an outdoor blower 20, and a large proportion of the air passes through a heat exchanger 22 in the outdoor and is discharged from a discharge air port 23, and part of the air in an air flow passage 21 flows to the open port section 28 of a supply air duct 24, and this outdoor air comes in contact with a spring 31 made of a shape memory alloy which is provided in the vertical direction at the upper and lower sections and the spring 31 extends in straight direction, and a damper 29 also rotates in a straight direction simultaneously by this extension and controls the amount of supply air which flows from an open section 28. With this arrangement the whole amount of supply air which flows from a heat exchanger 25 to an indoor heat exchanger 26 is limited so that the temperature of the air that is discharged from an indoor discharge port 27 does not fall and by the control to reduce the amount of supply air the discharge air temperature from an indoor air discharge port 27 is high, because, even if the supply air mixes with the circulating air in the room, the amount of this mixture is small.
