摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of a magnetic material used, by making the thickness and width of magnets on the outer periphery of a rotor core at the central parts in the circumferential direction of the same larger than the same of the magnets at the ends of the rotor core. CONSTITUTION:A rotor consists of an octagonal rotor core 12, fixed to a shaft 10, and 8 pieces of magnets 14, bonded and fixed to respective sides of the rotor core 12. The outer periphery of the magnets 14 forms a circle and the thickness (t1) of the central parts 16 of the magnets is formed larger than the thickness (t2) of the same at the edge parts 18. Farther, the magnets are constituted so that not only the thickness of the circumferentially central parts 16 of the magnets 14, deployed on the rotor core 12, is made larger than the thicknesses of the circumferentialedge parts 18 of the same but also the width of the magnets in the central axis 11 of the rotation of the rotor at said central parts 16 is formed larger than the width of the same at the edges 18. According to this method, the central part 16 of the magnet may be less affected by the magnetic field of the opposite direction thereof.
