摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To uniformly and quickly cool the inside of a pipe to be cooled and to quickly discharge a cooling liquid from the pipe at a low cost by introducing stepwise high-velocity flow from a tank in which a pressurized gas is sealed into the pipe to be cooled through a quickly operating stop valve, the blowing the pressurized gas into the pipe to be cooled. CONSTITUTION:The pressurized tank 6 into which a specified volume of the pressurized gas 7 is sealed is connected to a discharge pie 5 of a pump 1 for delivering the cooling liquid 4 from a cooling liquid tank 2 so that the cooling liquid 4 is pressurized and introduced into the tank. The pipe 15 to be cooled such as seamless steel pipe is held and connected to the downstream of the above-mentioned discharge pipe 5 via the quickly operating stop valve 9, an auxiliary running pipe 10, and a clamping device 11. The stepwise high-velocity flow of the cooling liquid 4 is introduced into the pipe 15 by quickly opening the above-mentioned valve 9 to cool the pipe uniformly in the circumferential and axial direction. The valve 9 is closed after the end of the pipe cooling and the pressurized gas is introduced from a gas blow pipe 14 branched and connected to the pipe 10 into the pipe 15. The cooling liquid in the pipe 15 is thereby quickly discharged to stop the pipe cooling midway at a prescribed temp., by which the pipe 15 is recuperated with high accuracy and the strength and toughness thereof are improved.</p>
