PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient stirring effect by repeating tumbling stirring, by mounting a hand grasping a specimen container by a spring mechanism, a hand forward and backward motion mechanism, a hand up-and-down motion mechanism and a hand reciprocating rotary motion mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At first, when hand 44, 46, 48 are present at positions 44A, 46A, 48A, a rack moves and the specimen container held by the rack reaches the position 48A and, at this time, the hand 48 moves forwardly to grasp the specimen container. The hand 48 grasps the specimen container by the action of a spring 106 to rise to the position shown by a drawing and repeats reciprocating motion within a 120 deg.-angle range in a vertical plane. By this method, the specimen in the specimen container is subjected to tumbling stirring. During this time, the specimen in the separate specimen container grasped by the hand 44 is sucked. After sucking is finished, the specimen container is released from the hand and returned to the rack. By this method, sufficient stirring is performed regardless of the amount of the specimen. |
