PURPOSE:To prevent an in-disk data from being broken down due to an operation mistake, by comparing mutually bits time information written in a prescribed address of a disk and determining whether a disk copy work can be performed continuously or not in accordance with a prescribed routine based on a result of said comparison. CONSTITUTION:A disk device 4 having a data to be copied and a disk device 5 in which the data to be copied is copied are connected through a data transferring, comparing and deciding device 6 comparing the time (containing a data) written in prescribed addresses of each disk device 4, 5. Also, this data transfer comparing and deciding device 6 is connected to a disk copy command controller 7 connected between the disk devices 4, 5 in the same way. As a result of comparison, if a date and time written in the address of the disk device having a data to be copied are newer than a date and time written previously in the address of the disk device of a copy destination, an operator starts a copy work. In such a way, danger of a breakdown of an in-disk data can be eliminated. |
