<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device, to reduce its cost and also, to reduce a read error depending on a moving speed of a coordinate indicator, by determining and reading the coordinate position of the coordinate indicator by an induced voltage detected by an induced voltage detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A microposition detecting circuit 19 for constituting a coordinate detecting circuit 18 detects a microposition, based on the induced voltage of each sense line of a microposition sense line group 51 and the result of decision of polarity. Also, a rough position detecting circuit 20 detects a rough position, based on the induced voltage of each sense line of a rough position sense line group 61 and the microposition obtained from the microposition detecting circuit 19, and by adding the values of both of them, a position in the X axis direction of a coordinate indicator 4 is determined. In the same way, based on the induced voltage of each sense line of a microposition sense line group 71 and a rough position sense line group 81, and the result of decision of polarity, a position in the Y axis direction of the coordinate indicator 4 is determined. In such a way, the device can be miniaturized, the cost can be reduced, and also, a coordinate read error can be reduced.</p> |
