<p>PURPOSE:To calculate an optimum effective dose equivalent and to conduct an exposure control on the basis of an accurate effective dose equivalent, by determining beforehand the ratio between a measured value of a personal sectional gauge and a dose equivalent of each organ or tissue and by inputting the same in an arithmetic device. CONSTITUTION:The position of a source, the content of an operation, etc. in a control area are investigated beforehand, and a typical value of the ratio between a measured value of a personal sectional exposure gauge and a dose equivalent of each organ or tissue is determined for each case and inputted in an arithmetic processing device 3. Then, a measured dose value and the data on the situation of irradiation which are inputted in an exposure measuring device 2 are outputted to the arithmetic device 3, the ratio between the measured dose value and the dose equivalent of each organ or tissue, which is inputted beforehand in the arithmetic device 3, is compared with the output, and the optimum ratio is selected as data for calculation of the dose equivalent. Then, the dose equivalent of each organ or tissue is calculated and further the sum of products of each dose equivalent and a load coefficient is computed by arithmetic processing. By the computation of this sum of products, an effective dose equivalent is calculated correctly.</p> |
