PURPOSE:To obtain high-grade iron oxide at a low cost without any influence of grade of raw material ore, by subjecting hematite ore or magnetite ore to polishing treatment and separating the iron ore and gangue materials. CONSTITUTION:Hematite ore or magnetite ore is used as a starting material, which is subjected to polishing treatment to separate the iron ore and gangue materials, classification and then gravity concentration. Alternatively, in addition to this, the concentrate obtained by the above-mentioned gravity concentration is then subjected to the second polishing treatment.
