<p>PURPOSE:To accurately correct the shifting of a conveying position without impairing the throughput of a cut sheet by setting an initial set position and a detection start position within the moving section in a main scanning direction of a conveying position shifting correcting mechanism for a cut sheet. CONSTITUTION:When the slit 1a of a disk 1 is detected by a sensor 17, a controller 2 engages a clutch 12. And, the gear 11a of a motor 11 is engaged with a gear 12b rotating a gear 13a to convey a cut sheet PA, while a main scanning direction control clutch 14 is engaged engaging the gear 11a with a gear 14a to rotate a cam 15. When a bill as the sheet PA is detected 16, the clutch 14 is disengaged and a conveying roller 13 continues to convey the sheet PA. Then, as the passage of the sheet PA is detected, the clutch 14 is engaged. When the slit 1a of the disk 1 is detected by the sensor 17 indicating the return of the conveying roller 13 to its home position, the clutches 14, 12 are disengaged. Thereby, the shifting of a conveying position can be accurately corrected without lowering a throughput.</p> |
