PURPOSE:To improve information transfer rate by using a 1st route which connects plural processors in a hyper-cube form and a 2nd route where each processor is connected to its most remote processor. CONSTITUTION:Plural processors are connected in a hyper-cube form via the 1st routes L11-14. At the same time, 2nd routes L21 and L22 are added so that each processor is connected to its most remote processor respectively. When a certain processor sends the information to another processor, the distance between the destination address and its own address is calculated. Then the routes are selected in response to the extent of the distance. For instance, a processor having its address '0000' transfers the information to another processor having its address '0111', the distance is set at 3. Therefore the information can be transferred by two transmitting actions as long as the 2nd route L21 is used. In such a way, the information transfer rate is improved. |
