PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for inquiring again to whom a trunk line caller desires a call by displaying the extension number of an opposite party transferred to the own telephone set when the transferring party responds again to the transferred trunk line. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 5 is provided with an RAM6 storing the number of a telephone set at the transferred side which is transferred through a trunk line. Further, the telephone sets with a display device are used for telephone sets 71-7x. Further, when the telephone set at the transferring side responds again because the transferred telephone set does not respond at the trunk line transfer, the processing unit 5 displays the number of the transferred telephone set read from the RAM6 onto the display device of the transferring telephone set. Since the extension number of the transferred party is displayed on the own telephone set in this way, the need for inquiring again to whom the caller of the trunk line desires to have a call is eliminated. |
