PURPOSE:To extend easily the picture of an original to a required magnification by tilting a one-dimensional contact reading sensor in the moving direction of the original to read the picture of original. CONSTITUTION:The original 1 is moved in the direction A while being clipped by upper and lower carrying roll pairs 3 between a couple of guides 2. Further, the one-dimensional contact reading sensor 4 in which lots of reading elements are arranged in a line is arranged on a prolonged line in the carrying direction A of the original 1. Then, one end 4a of the sensor 4 is pivoted freely turnably to a pin 5 and the other end 4b is fixed by tightening a butterfly nut 7. Thus, the sensor 4 is fixed with a required angle theta in the original moving direction A. The picture is extended freely by the required magnification 1/sintheta by reading the picture of the original 1 at the sensor 4. Thus, the original picture is extended easily to the required magnification. |
