PRODUCTION OF BENT RUBBER HOSE

PURPOSE:To produce simply a rubber main body having a good accuracy, by covering circumferential faces of contacting parts of a front and a rear end parts of a rubber hose raw material and position-fixing caps with fixing members, taking off a bent mandrel where the rubber raw material is inserted from a clamping means and carrying out the vulcanization and molding. CONSTITUTION:A position fixing cap 12 is inserted into a bent mandrel 11 and an end part of the bent mandrel 11 is clamped. The outer circumferential face of the bent mandrel 11 is coated with a releasing liquid. After an unvulcanized rubber hose raw material 15 is inserted therein, a position fixing cap 16 is inserted into a rear end side of the bent mandrell 11. In this state, circumferential faces Xa and Xb of contacting parts of the front and the rear end parts of the rubber hose raw material 15 and the position fixing caps 12 and 16 are covered with fixing members 17a and 17b. The bent mandrel 11 is taken off from a clamping means 14 and the vulcanization and molding are carried out. The fixing members 17a and 17b and the bent mandrel 11 are pulled out from the rubber main body 10 to produce a bent rubber hose 10.
