PURPOSE:To cancel out a deviation due to a cutting force during cutting by inside cutting edges so as to ensure the degree of finishing accuracy by allowing spline teeth giving cutting force in the acute angle side part and spline teeth giving cutting force in the obtuse angle side part to fall into a cutting condition with suitable numbers, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A spline teeth 1 performs cutting in its acute angle side part 4 and in obtuse angle side part 5 while a spline tooth 2 is formed in its acute angle side part 4 with a guide edge 7 having a cutting depth of zero and in its obtuse angle side part 5 with a cutting edge 6 having a cutting depth of a certain value so as to constitute a second spline teeth. A spline tooth 3 is formed in its acute angle side part with a cutting edge 6 having a cutting depth of a certain value and its obtuse angle side part with a guide edge 7 having a cutting depth of zero so as to constitute a first spline tooth. The pitches of spline teeth are set so that at least two spline teeth fall in a cutting condition, simultaneously, and therefore, both of the cutting edges 6 on the acute angle side 5 and the obtuse angle side 4 fall always into a cutting condition, simultaneously.
