PURPOSE:To enable any seizure to be prevented by arranging a porous graphite layer on a bearing surface so as to be brought into contact with titanium nitride on the surface of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rubber mold is charged with MC by means of CIP forming method so as to form porous graphite by pressurizing force, and then it is burned at about 1100 deg. under N2 ambience for about 2 hours. Owing to the above arrangement, raw material for carbon material whose grain diameters are distributed below about 40mum is formed on a bearing surface 3a, Accordingly, when a film of titanium nitride TIN which exists on the surface of a shaft 1 is brought into contact with the bearing surface 3a made of porous graphite, seizure can be prevented.
