PURPOSE:To copy an image on a required position without a lack by setting up scanning length to a value longer than computed scanning length computed on the basis of paper size, magnification and the moving distance of an image in an edition mode and correcting the resist timing of paper feeding in accordance with the moving distance of the image. CONSTITUTION:In the edition mode, necessary scanning length Sm is computed on the basis of the size of copying paper 22, the magnification of an original and the moving distance + or -lm of an image, the practical scanning length is set up to a value more than the computed scanning length Sm and the resist timing of the copying paper 22 based upon a resist roll is corrected in accordance with the moving distance + or -lm. Thereby, the sufficient scanning length can be guaranteed independently of the moving distance of the image. When the resist timing of paper feeding is corrected in accordance with the moving distance of an image, the image can be moved on a required position and copying can be attained without generating an image lack due to unsufficient scanning. |
