PURPOSE:To relieve difficulty in packaging by extending transmission electrodes by each piece in respectively different directions and providing an allowance to the spacings in the drawing out parts formed integrally therewith on the same substrate in the juncture to an external driving source. CONSTITUTION:The striped transmission electrodes 3 are alternately drawn out by each piece and the drawing out parts 6 corresponding thereto are integrally formed on the substrate 1. A connector 7 is connected to the parts 6. The width of a connector conductor part 8 can, therefore, be increased and the generation of Joule heat and change in potential gradient between the conductor parts 8 and between the electrodes 3 and the conductor parts 8 are prevented. The fluctuation in display characteristic is thereby eliminated and stable tone display is permitted. The conductor parts 8 have the sufficient large width and, therefore, even if some deviation arises at the time of connecting the connector 7 to the substrate 1, the easy and sure connection to the electrode 3 is permitted. The difficulty in packaging is thus relieved.
