<p>PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a device by arranging an illuminating part for illuminating a paper carrying part in an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:When a jam is generated during copying, a jam detecting lamp on an operation panel is lighted up to inform the generation of the jam and the device is stopped. When a light switch on an operation panel is depressed in order to remove jam paper, light 28a-28d in a copying device are turned on and the jam paper can be easily removed. Consequently, the recovery of the jam paper is increased and safety and maneuerability at the time of inspecting the device in case of jam generation or service are improved.</p> |
