PURPOSE:To intensify negative electric chargeability and to improve fixability and dispersion stability by consisting a titled developer of resin particles which are a copolymer of cyclized rubber and acrylate or methacrylate contg. -Cl and -OH groups in the molecule without incorporating a resin having high solubility with a nonpolar liquid into said particles. CONSTITUTION:This developer is basically constituted of the nonpolar liquid and the copolymer of the cyclized rubber which exhibits good dispersibility with the nonpolar liquid and imparts fixability and printing resistance to the developer and the resin which is insoluble in the nonpolar liquid and impart the negative electric chargeability and particle characteristic to the developer, i.e., the acrylate or methacrylate contg. the -Cl and -OH groups in the molecule. The developer does not contain the resin having the high solubility in the nonpolar liquid. The negative electric chargeability is thereby intensified, for the electron receptive property of the -Cl atoms. and both the fixability and dispersion stability are improved. |
