PURPOSE:To shorten the molding time of a resin pipe, by a method wherein the resin liquid-impregnated reinforcing fibers stacked on a rotary mold in a plurality of stages are supplied and spirally wound around the peripheral surface of said mold to be molded into a fiber reinforced resin pipe. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fiber bundles 2 separated into two upper and lower stages are introduced into the resin liquid 12 in a lower resin liquid tank 11 to be impregnated with the resin liquid and introduced into the cylindrical body 24 of an impregnation promoting apparatus 23. The reinforcing fiber bundles 2 are gathered into one stage to be sent to a lead-out roller 21. The resin liquid is blocked by the contact part 30a of a drain member 25, and the turblent flow of the resin liquid is generated on the surface of the resin liquid 12 in the cylindrical body 24. The penetration of the resin liquid into the reinforcing fiber bundles 2 is markedly promoted by said turblent flow. Next, the reinforcing fiber bundles 2 are sent to a curing agent feeder 34 and a proper amount of a curing agent is supplied. A movable stand 6 reciprocally moves on a rail member, and the reinforcing fiber bundles 2 from a feed-out roller 40 are spirally wound around the peripheral surface of a rotary mold 4 in two upper and lower stages so as to form a plurality of plies to form a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin pipe 46 on the outer peripheral part of the rotary mold 4.
