PURPOSE:To efficiently discharge precipitate settle on the bottom of a tank to the outside thereof without diffusing or resuspending it by providing grooves having opened top faces on the bottom of the tank and furthermore providing slanted guide members for guiding precipitate into the grooves, covers for opening and closing the aperture parts of the grooves and discharge ports for discharging precipitate therefrom. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 2 having opened top faces are provided on the bottom of a precipitation tank 20 and guide members 8 are provided so that settling precipitate slides on slanted faces and precipitates in the grooves 2 and furthermore covers 9 for closing the apertures of the top faces of the grooves 2 in case of discharging water contg. precipitate through discharge ports are provided. Thereby precipitate can be settled for a long time excepting operation time at extremely short time and introduced into the grooves 2 without causing rediffusion and precipitate high in degree of concentration can be taken out.
