PURPOSE:To evenly extract messages to plural queue mailboxes by switching the selecting system of queue mailboxes for extraction of message in response to the number of staying messages. CONSTITUTION:When a message extracting request is produced, a message extracting means 6 first checks the number of staying messages to all queue mailboxes set under the rule of a mailbox I1 among those designated mailbox groups 5. Then these number of messages are compared with each other and the largest number of staying messages of the queue mailbox is referred to as (a) together with the second largest number of messages as (b) respectively. It is checked whether a-b<=c is satisfied or not against the prescribed value (c) in order to change the message extracting algorithm. If said condition is not satisfied, the conventional round-robin method is applied. While a message is extracted out of the mailbox having the message number (a) and the contents of this message are informed to an application program 7 if the condition a-b<=c is satisfied. |
