PURPOSE:To easily set up a copying condition at the time of using the succeeding user and to improve the maneuverability of a device by setting up time up to autoclear to a value longer than no paper empty state at the time of the paper empty state obtained when there is no paper in a paper feeding part. CONSTITUTION:When copy paper in the paper feeding parts 20, 22 is completely consumed and the paper feeding parts 20, 22 are in the paper empty state during the use of a copying machine A, the time up to auto clear is set up to a value longer than a value at the time of no paper empty. During the period, the user can feed copy paper and continue copying in the same copying condition. When the use of the copying machine A is not restarted, after the passage of a fixed period set up in an autoclear timer 2, auto clear is executed and the copying condition is automatically restored to a reference mode. Consequently, the succeeding user can easily set up the copying condition, the maneuverability can be improved and probability generating malfunction can be reduced. |
