摘要 The vehicle follows a path along a movement surface in a control loop with an electrical conductor through which a current flows. A position indicator probes the magnetic field around the control loop, and, after processing, a primary information signal is produced containing data relating to the vehicle distance from the control loop. A secondary information signal contains data covering the vehicle angular position relative to the control loop. The data signals activate the vehicle so that its direction of travel is adjusted dependent upon both the distance and the angle position relative to the control loop. The indicator comprises at least two components, each providing a signal varying dependent upon the angle position of the vehicle relative to the control loop.
