PURPOSE:To make handling easy and to attain also the projection of an animation by allowing a control part to store image information obtained from a demodulating part in a storage part and display the image information read out from the storage part on a transmissive liquid crystal display part. CONSTITUTION:When access to a host computer e.g. and the reading of an image information signal are commanded from a keyboard, a network control part 11 reads out the image formation signal through a public telephone line 2, a MODEM part 12 demodulates the signal and the storage part 13 stores the demodulated signal. Then, the control part 14 extracts the image information from the storage part 13 based on a command from the keyboard 15 and sends the extracted information to the transmissive liquid crystal display part 17 to display the image on its display screen. Light radiated from a light emitting source 16 is made incident upon a lens 18 through the display screen and the image is projected to a screen 100. Consequently, animations can be also projected, and since an OHP sheet is not used, inconvenience of its carrying and complexity of its handling can be removed.
