<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an arbitrary delay time, and to realize a pulse generating circuit for generating a pulse signal having an arbitrary pulse width without increasing the number of stages of an inverter by the use of this delaying circuit, by using polycrystal silicon of a high resistance, as a signal delay element. CONSTITUTION:To one input of a two-input NAND gate 1, a clock signal is inputted, and to the other input, a signal which is delayed by polysilicon 2 of a high resistance and an inverter circuit 3 is inputted. In an output of the 2-input NAND gate 1, a pulse signal having pulse width of a delay time is obtained. For instance, when a resistor leading in no impurities is utilized as the polycrystal silicon of a high resistance, a resistance value of several hundred MOMEGA-several GOMEGA is obtained. When an input capacity C of the gate is 0.05pF, a time constant tau=CR of charge and discharge becomes about 5mus-50mus, and a pulse signal having a long pulse width is obtained by a smaller number of stages of an inverter.</p> |
