PURPOSE:To prevent direct contact of moisture, etc., with a photosensitive sheet film and to improve a cushion effect by using a synthetic resin film layer to form the surface in contact with said sheet film and laminating a foamed sheet layer on the synthetic resin film layer thereby constituting a package. CONSTITUTION:Protective backing paper for the package of the photosensitive sheet film is constituted by providing the synthetic resin film layer, the foamed sheet layer and a base layer thereto. For example, the protective backing paper is formed by welding and joining the synthetic resin film layer 1, the foamed sheet layer 2 and the base layer 2 under heating of the surfaces with hot wind, etc., thereby directly laminating these layers. The synthetic resin film layer 1 obviates generation of moisture or harmful gases, prohibits the permeation of the moisture or harmful gases and prevents fogging and sensitivity fluctuation. Since the front face of the synthetic resin film layer 1 is smooth, said layer prevents the generation of pressure fogging, friction fogging and scratching even if an X-ray photographic sheet film is slid by oscillation. The foamed sheet layer 2 weakens the impact from the outside and prevents the adverse influence thereof on the photosensitive sheet film. |
