PURPOSE:To easily vary the phase of digital color subcarrier data by expressing the address value of an address signal generated from an address signal generation circuit including a fixed number K and varying the fixed number K according to the control output data of the phase control circuit of a color subcarrier. CONSTITUTION:The address value of the address signal generated from the address signal generation circuit 33 is expressed by the address value = (PXFsc/Fc) . m+K (m is the number increasing by one at a time according to a clock signal, () is the number taking P as a modulus and K is zero or the fixed number of a positive integral number.), simultaneously to that, the phase control circuit 34 of the color subcarrier is provided. The fixed number K is varied according to the control output data of the phase control circuit 34 of the color subcarrier. Therefore, according to the phase control signal of the color subcarrier, the phase of the digital color subcarrier data (including digital color burst data) of U shaft and V shaft obtained from memories 31 and 32 is controlled.
