PURPOSE:To realize the standby application of an analog signal and to effectively use a transmission line, by attaching a switcher for an intermediate frequency band area to operate the standby application of the analog signal, a switcher for service channel signal, and a line switching controller to control those switchers. CONSTITUTION:A reception request signal S1 for standby application is transmitted from a reception local station as a sub signal in a direction of a transmission local station. When the standby application reception request signal S1 is received at the line switching controllers 9C, 9B, and 9A, the line switcher 5M+N+3 of the reception local station is controlled, and an analog spare line Ea is connected to an analog signal output terminal AOM+1, and also, a change- over switch SW2 is switched to a receiver 41 side, and the change-over switch SW2 of a repeater station is also switched to the receiver 41 side. Furthermore, the line switcher 5M+N+3 of the transmission local station is controlled, and the input terminal AIM+1 of the analog signal is connected to the analog spare line Ea, and also, the switcher IFS with the intermediate frequency band area is switched to a frequency modulator 1M+1 side.
