PURPOSE:To attain smooth communication with all vehicles on a road by limiting the information to be sent to each vehicle when the density of vehicles on the road is high and the average speed reaches a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:The a speed of the vehicle during driving is obtained by a means and the average vehicle speed of plural vehicles is obtained based on an output of the means obtaining the vehicle speed and a control means limiting the quantity of information communicated with the behicle to a prescribed quantity or below is provided when the average vehicle speed reaches a prescribed value or below. Depending on the average vehicle speed of plural vehicles detected by the means detecting the vehicle speed, the degree of traffic jam on the road is discriminated. When the quantity of passing of the vehicle is high, the number of vehicles not communicated while positioned in the section charged by a prescribed questionnaire equipment is decreased and the communication is attained more smoothly. |
