The housing (1) for a pump/motor unit contains a toothed ring (4) inside which rotates with a rolling action, a toothed pinion (5) meshing with it. Between them is a crescent shaped element (18). Secured to the housing by three equally spaced bolts (16) is an end plate (2). A screw (17) passing through the crescent, also passes through the housing to screw into the end plate. Two screws can be used, at least one screw passing through the high pressure half of the crescent.
