Lamp-lampholder assembly having improved magnetic attraction. Lamp-lampholder assembly characterised in that the mutual retention results from the magnetic attraction between a small metal plate 6 firmly attached to the cap 2 and a magnet 29 arranged at the bottom of the lampholder 20 or adaptor 21, the cap and the cavity of the lampholder having complementary cylindrical shapes with flats 3 and 4 which are extended for the lamp by electrical contacts which engage in complementary pinching-effect contact members provided correspondingly at the bottom of the lampholder on either side of the magnet or of its central part.
