<p>Granular, crystalline or powdered solids such as vegetable matter, are treated with liquids by bringing the phase containing the solids and a phase containing the liquid into contact in mixing chambers in the closed vessel, with one phase above the other. Parts of each phase are taken to the other phase by means of containers rotating with the vessel.</p> |
