PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition with smooth and glossy surface after curing, suitable as a surface smoothness and gloss-imparting agent for artificial teeth, comprising a urethane-based acrylic monomer, volatile solvent for said monomer and polymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a urethane-based acrylic monomer of formula (R is H or a alkyl; m and n are each integer), (B) a volatile solvent for the monomer A (e.g., methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, acetone, ethanol) and (C) a polymerization initiator (e.g., a visible light polymerization catalyst such as camphor quinone or dibenzoyl, or, if needed, a combination of this catalyst with a reducing agent such as N,N'- dimethylamino-p-benzoic acid ester). Preferably, the amount of the initiator C to be incorporated is such as to be 0.1-5wt.% based on the total amount of the final composition.
