PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a fault of a display picture attended with load fluctuation by connecting an inductance in series with a pumpup system charging additively a positive pulse generated from a flyback transformer to a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The inductance 16 is connected in series with the pumpup system charging additively a positive pulse generated from a transformer 8 during the blanking period of horizontal deflection with respect to a capacitor 13 charging an output generated from a flyback transformer 8 during the scanning period of horizontal deflection. Even if the positive pulse voltage used for pumpup rises generated from the transformer 8 in response to the horizontal deflection frequency, the frequency rises as the voltage rises. Thus, the current limit to the pumpup current due to the inductance 16 is increased. As a result, since the pumpup current is made constant against the change in the horizontal deflection frequency, the load fluctuation of the transformer 8 is prevented to prevent the disturbance of the display picture.
