The earpiece (2) is angled in the longitudinal direction by a slight angle. The rear side has recesses for two sets of keys; one (15) for dialling and the other (14) for operation control. Each set is in a zone separated from the other at an angle. The vertex zone (7) of the angle pref. lies on the part of the handgrip (5) bordering on to the earpiece, the dial part being on the main hand grip area, and the operating part on the earpiece area. A display (25) may lie on the end. The keys pref. protrude from their recessed zone to the level of the surrounding casing. An emergency call key may be provided. ADVANTAGE - Easy to use without looking at handset.
