PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polyester composition having excellent coating film appearance, corrosion resistance and secondary adhesivity and giving a void-free coating film even by thick-coating, by using a specific polyester resin and a blocked polyisocyanate or an amino resin as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) a polyester resin having an acid value of <=20KOHmg/g, an OH value of 15-100KOHmg/g and a softening point of 60-150 deg.C and produced by reacting (i) a carboxyl-containing polyester polymer having an acid value of 5-50KOHmg/g, preferably 10-4 KOHmg/g and a hydroxyl value of 0-60KOHmg/g, preferably 3-50KOHmg/g (preferably having a branched structure) with (ii) 0.1-1.0mol. of a compound of formula (n is 0-10) based on 1mol. of the COOH group of the component (i) and (B) a blocked polyisocyanate resin or an amino resin.
