This up and over door, in particular garage door, has pins (2), in the lower end region of the door leaf (1), for guiding the leaf along vertical rails (3) as well as a driver (5) which can be driven by motor, is guided along a track, running above the door opening and perpendicularly to the plane thereof, and is connected to the door leaf via a connecting device which is guided by means of rollers (9) along a track (10) provided on the inner side of the door leaf. In order to provide an up and over door which moves smoothly, in the case of which there are no drive problems in the end positions of the door leaf and in the case of which no substantial reduction in free drive-through height and/or width takes place, the invention provides that the connecting device exhibits a lever arm (7), of which one end is articulated on the driver (5) and the other end is guided in a rectilinear guide-rail piece (10) running vertically when the door leaf (1) is shut, and the connecting device further exhibits a link (8), of which one end is articulated on the lever arm (7), between the ends thereof, and the other end is articulated on the door leaf (1), above the guide-rail piece (10). <IMAGE> |
