The invention relates to a heat tube for transmitting high thermal power from a heat source which is at a relatively high electrical potential to a heat sink at a relatively low potential. As a result of the fact that the heat tube is split between the heat source and the heat sink, and a tubular insulating body, which does not impede the thermodynamic process, is inserted there, a considerably higher thermal power can be transferred, with a reduced temperature gradient, from a heat source which is at a high voltage to a heat sink which is at earth potential.
