The easily released articulated coupling (14) for connecting two toy vehicles (10, 12) consists of two coupling halves. One coupling half is a pin (20) projecting rigidly from the front of one vehicle (12) and having an articulation head (18). The other coupling half is formed by a bore (16) with a vertical axis, the bore having a diameter which fits the articulation head (18) and being axially open at least on one side. This bore (16) is radially open at the rear end of the vehicle (10) over an arc length between about 60@ and not a full 180@. In the coupled state, the pin (20) extends through this radial aperture. <IMAGE>
