PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and max. density of a heat developable photosensitive material contg. silver halide (AgX) by incorporating a halogen trapping agent into said material. CONSTITUTION:The halogen trapping agent is incorporated into the heat developable photosensitive material contg. at least AgX. The halogen trapping agent is preferably the amine compd. expressed by the formula (R1-R3 are respectively H, alkyl, alkenyl or aryl. R1-R3 may be respectively the same or different and may cooperatively form a ring. The total sum of the numbers of carbon atoms to be incorporated into R1-R3 is >=6). Such amine compd. is incorporated into the heat developable photosensitive material contg. photographic chemicals for forming halogen ions such as AgX, hardening agent, developer trapping agent and coupler, by which the adverse influence on photographic performance arising from the formation of the halogen ions, i.e., degradation in the sensitivity and max. density, is prevented. The heat developable photographic sensitive material with which the high sensitivity and high max. density are obtainable is thereby obtd. |
