The semirotary pump has a rotor (12) with radial vanes (13) that circulate in a toroidal chamber (18) of a casing (11), and that are positioned at right angles to the circulation in the toroidal chamber during delivery, but in the direction of circulation while passing through the separation area between the inlet (20) and the outlet (21), filling a slot (23). In order to avoiding pulsating pumping, segments (16) are located on the rotor (12) between the individual vanes (13), which fill in a covering manner the spaces between vanes (13) that are set parallel to the flow. <IMAGE>
